Day 3: Drive from Jispa To Tsokar (225km).

Overnight in Tents Campsite at Tsokar ( 4530m).

Day 4: Trek to Rachungkaru

Trek to Rachungkaru via( Horlamkonka pass 4900m). 5 hrs

Day 5: Rachunkaru to Gyama (4 to 5 hrs)

On leaving camp, we cross a stream and pass close to a mani wall, sculpted by the Chang Tang herders. We then hike up to the Nuruchan La (4750m), before descending easily to cross another stream and another low pass. In this area, the nomadic herdsmen that we meet are likely to be Tibetan, having been displaced here from the western part of that cross-border territory. We camp at gyama(4952m) amongst grazing yaks, sheep and pashmina goats.

Day 6: GYAMA TO GYABARMA (5171m).

Today is a fairly long day of Tso Kar to Tso Moriri trek as we cross passes above 5000 metres, where the views extend across a high-level landscape to numerous snow-capped peaks. After a short descent, we climb again to cross the Gyabarma La (5300m), beyond which we descend, cross a stream and reach our camping place in the pastures at Gyabarma (5171m). A wild and remote location.

Day 7: Gyamaburma to Tsomoriri Lake (4530m).

Today, we finally get views of the stunning lake of Tso Moriri, as we reach the top of the Yalung Naula Pass (5400m). Some 20 kilometres long and surrounded by high, snow-capped peaks, Tso Moriri lake is one of the most beautiful lakes imaginable. The approach to the pass is straightforward, but quite long. We descend to Karzok Dok (4632m) on a zig-zag path.

Day 8: Tsomoriri Lake to Leh Via Chumathang Hot Spring.

We will rendezvous with our vehicles at Karzok and set off on the 6-7 hour drive back to Leh, which is 220 kms away. The road is quite rough at first but we travel on an ever-improving surface and once we reach the Indus River, the road is very smooth making the final part of the journey quite comfortable. There are some great views as we cross the open plain of the Chang Tang and then descend by the (at this point) very small Indus. Once we reach our hotel in Leh, before tucking ourselves into the comfort of our bed, we all will join for a celebratory dinner of our ultimate Tso Kar to Tso Moriri trek.

Day 9: Leh - Nubra Valley

After breakfast leave for the Nubra Valley, driving across the Khardung La pass (altitude: 18,380 ft.). After descending from the pass, drive on for sightseeing at the Sumoor area. Later, check into a fixed camp in the same area or drive across to Diskit for an overnight stay at a camp.

Day 10: Nubra - Pangong Tso Lake - Leh(150 km)

Early morning, you will leave Nubra Valley and go to Pangong Tso Lake via Shayok. After sightseeing around the beautiful Pangong Tso Lake, after lunch leave

After lunch, you will leave Pangong/Tangtse and get back on the Leh route across Chang La. upon reaching Karu, you will drive across the Indus and visit the famous Hemis Monastery, the biggest monastery in Ladakh. Later, you will drive to Leh, enroute visiting the picturesque Hemis and Thiksey monasteries. Overnight stay at a hotel.
